Our Prom was super duper late, we know. So, last March 22, 2014 was our Junior-Senior Promenade. Our venue was the Splash Mountain Hotel, the place was actually pretty good and was well ventilated. Our attire was coat-and-tie and long gowns. Here goes our prom.
We (some of my classmates and I) kinda arrived late at the venue so we were the last in line. The entrance of students was taking so long, I didn't know why until I saw that there was a photo booth inside and that was our souvenir. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go there because of the lack of time.
The event started around 5 pm and ended around 10:30 pm. The program began with a prayer and some long opening remarks.
Also, before we entered the main venue, we were asked to walk the red carpet. And I was seriously shaking but I got to my table without stumbling.
These two were some of my table mates, Ivy Chua and Ronald Chua (cousins). And they made my night okay.
Then it was time for the turn over of the Senior officers to the Junior officers.
Time for the cotillion dance.
There were 3 batches of Juniors and Seniors who danced.
Then it was the most awaiting part, the food! After eating, we took some pictures again.
Then for entertainment, the ATF (some of the greatest senior boy dancers) danced in front of us.
Okay, they were good, I mean really good.
Time for the 1st dance proper. Well, my first dance was unbelievable and spectacular. After that, we partied.
Then it was time for the announcement for The Prom King/Queen, Prom Prince/Princess, and the Mr/Ms star of the Night and the nominees were deserving.
Time for the 2nd part of the dance proper
Again we took some pictures and then danced.
After the cool beats the songs turned mellow then every couple started to dance.
After Dancing, they said the closing remarks and prayer. Then we took pictures again (sorry, we're somehow vain). Then couples started to call me to take pictures of them. Then we bid our goodbyes and left the place. What a wonderful night to be remembered.
